Current Students are students who are enrolled and attending school in the district. 

Apply to Gold Seal:

1. On the main page of Parent Portal, select the drop-down menu next to your child’s name in the left menu towards the bottom.
   •  Access the navigation menu on a mobile device by clicking the 3 lines located on the top banner.
2. Select “Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice Application 2026-2027.”
    
3. Review and complete all sections of the application and rank your 3 choices. Be sure to attach all requested documents.
   • Arlington Heights Dance, I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM & VPA, and Young Women’s Leadership Academy may require additional documents and/or an audition. Specific information is provided in their program descriptions.
4. When finished with the application, click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
5. Repeat steps above for additional children.

   • Complete a separate online application for each child applying for a Program of Choice or School of Choice.

Former Students are students who are not currently enrolled or attending a Fort Worth ISD school but did previously attend and were assigned a Fort Worth student ID number. 

Register your child:

1. On the main page of Parent Portal, select the drop-down menu next to your child’s name in the left menu towards the bottom.
   •  Access the navigation menu on a mobile device by clicking the 3 lines located on the top banner.
2. Click "Forms Summary" in the drop-down menu and complete "Left the District Registration."
3. Then return to your child's drop-down menu on the main page of Parent Portal and continue with the instructions below.

Apply to Gold Seal:

New students are student who have never attended a Forth Worth ISD school. 

Register your child:

1. After creating your Parent Portal account, you will see the “Add Students” page.
2. Select “I would like to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT for a new child.”
3. Complete the required fields, then click “Submit & Finish” at the bottom of the page.
4. When finished with the application, click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
5. Add more students, or select “I am FINISHED adding students” which will take you to Parent Portal.
