Meeting Schedule: Mondays & Fridays during lunch in Room 1208, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in Room 1208, Fridays from 3:45 – 5:00 PM in the cafeteria
Purpose & Goals
The Dungeons & Dragons Club at I.M. Terrell Academy is dedicated to developing students’ social, mathematical, and problem-solving skills through collaborative storytelling and gameplay. Members will learn the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, explore risk management and situational awareness, and practice diplomacy and decision-making in immersive, imaginative scenarios.
Planned Activities & Meeting Schedule
- Play weekly D&D sessions in a supportive community
- Learn the mechanics and rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition
- Explore risk assessment and strategic thinking
- Practice diplomacy and understand cause-and-effect through roleplay
Meetings are held multiple times weekly, offering flexible opportunities for participation and engagement.
Support for Student Development
Drone Club supports student growth by enhancing spatial reasoning, sequencing, and critical thinking. Students gain hands-on experience with drone technology, learn to troubleshoot flight issues, and collaborate on team-based challenges that simulate real-world applications.

The Dungeons & Dragons Club supports I.M. Terrell Academy’s MMVC by fostering artistic expression, strategic thinking, and innovative problem-solving. Students are encouraged to design characters and worlds, explore complex scenarios, and develop creative solutions—skills that align with the academy’s vision of cultivating thoughtful and imaginative leaders.
Compliance with Senate Bill 12
The Dungeons & Dragons Club complies fully with the requirements of Texas Senate Bill 12. The club does not engage in discussions or activities related to sexual orientation or gender identity. All participating students must submit a signed FWISD Parent Consent Form to ensure parental awareness and approval of their involvement.
