Ensembles

The I.M. Terrell Band Program currently consists of a Concert Band and offers students a wide range of enriching musical experiences.
 
All students enrolled in band will:
  • Audition for the All-Region Band
  • Participate in the Solo and Ensemble Contest
  • Take part in the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation
  • Compete annually in the FWISD All-City Band process
  • Attend out-of-school rehearsals
Throughout the year, students focus on developing healthy playing posture, strengthening their musical skills, and building confidence in sight-reading to help create a more cohesive ensemble sound.
 
Students are encouraged to audition for the TMEA All-Region Band and are expected to perform with precision, energy, and a high level of musicianship.
