Volunteer

Your Time Makes a Difference!
Volunteering at I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM & VPA enriches your child’s experience and strengthens our school community. To ensure a safe environment for all, FWISD requires all campus volunteers to complete a background check before participating.

Steps to Become an Approved Volunteer:
  1. Complete the FWISD Volunteer Application
    - Be sure to check all required boxes and fill in every field.
  2. Consent to a Background Check
    - This is part of the application process and helps ensure campus safety.
  3. Review the Online Orientation
    - A quick overview of expectations and guidelines for volunteers.
Processing Time:
  • Applications are typically processed within two business days.
  • Once approved, your volunteer status is valid until June 30 of the current school year.

Missing any step may delay your ability to begin volunteering, so please complete all parts carefully.
